Lewiston defeats Post Falls at The Arena, 1-30-10

I think you have to call this an upset, I think. Despite embarrassing Lewiston fans, the Bengals girls basketball team rallied and beat Post Falls Saturday. I'm sure some of the girls will have a talk with their parents.

These are two tough teams. I have maintained that pound for pound Tori Davenport is the toughest player in the girl's division. She's tough but plays under control and I admire that. But she has a competitor now. Granted I haven't seen the Bengals play much, hardly ever, but their #2, 5'-4" Karlee Wilson is as quick and tough as anyone I have seen. She reminds me of Davenport except she is a little bigger. ( An aside, when I was typing "bigger" I typed "bugger" which would have fit ) I was basically photographing Post Falls, yet Wilson shows up in about 20 percent of my images. She is listed as a freshman on the roster, if this was not a mistake, Coeur d'Alene area teams will have their hands full with her for years to come.
