The Timberline Wolves nipped the T-Wolves 1-0 behind some excellent pitching of sophomore Erin Keen. Based on warm-ups, I thought LCHS would rip her. But no, she had this wicked drop ball that suckered most every Timberwolf at one at bat or another. Give the Timberline defense some credit, they played well, too.

Now, Timberline only won by a run, the T-Wolves played pretty well, a couple of errors made the difference I think. Center fielder Jennifer Robertson made a couple of nice catches and had a key hit, Katie Rowe and Jamie Hall plugged the middle well and Freshman Kory Kritz continued to beat the ball around. Timberline's middle infield also played an excellent game.

Tomorrow, a softball marathon for the T-Wolves or the Vikings  I think. I wish they wouldn't make these brackets in a foreign language. I think the 10:00 game is CHS - LCHS. If so, it will be a GOOD one! Good luck girls! Play well!
