Lela Work pitched Lake City into the state tournament today, the late game against Coeur d'Alene High School a rain soaked mess. One quick but important thought, Amber Coburn from Coeur d'Alene High School is a class act and deserves to make it to the state tournament.

Lake City has had CHS's number when they wanted to all year. Today through the senior leadership of Work and Jessica Ross, the outstanding LCHS catcher, the T-Wolves overcame adversity and mother nature and found a way to win two games.

A wise man told me once that anything can happen in high school sports. I hope all things good happen to the T-Wolves.
