I often wonder why mounted shooting is my favorite action sport to photograph. My mind always thinks about the beauty of the animals, or the interaction of the rider and horse, or the fancy clothes, or the guns. But the answer ALWAYS leads to the same conclusion; its the people who make it enjoyable. I enjoyed talking with those of you who I had the opportunity to see, even though I could only be there for a few short minutes. But, I left smiling. Thanks to you all.

One other thing, for a photographer, the Farragut location for mounted shooting is almost perfect. With the small arena fenced with DARK GREEN rails, and mostly great backgrounds. When the sun is out, the backlit images are SO dramatic. What a fun place. If only the park could place an old, red-planked equipment barn at the south end of the arena. I know of a few the park could probably save at minimal cost!
